From $15 to $10? You're going in the direction. You do realize Poshmark takes %20 which would put $5 in my pocket for that watch with a new battery.Would you do that?

@right_on_time I’m a buyer only, not a seller; so no, I did not know the details of your profit. But don’t get mad, you do realize that I am also looking for a deal. It works both ways, it’s not just about the seller’s benefit.
Additionally, I do like the watch, I am interested in the watch, and I am willing to pay more for it as well. But given it’s right before Christmas, I need to limit my spending on myself. So if you still have it following the holiday, then I’ll make you a new offer.

@nlh3 I'm not mad,but maybe you (and a seller) would be better served if you do a little research about the venue and how it works before diving in...it can only help you.
As far as holidays & finances go,you're far from alone this year more than any other in my lifetime.
Plus, the app was showing that I declined $15 & then you offered $10 which I thought was rather odd.

@right_on_time I don’t need a condescending person to tell me what price range I should stick to based on YOUR financial responsibilities to Poshmark!! Your passive aggressive attempt to make me feel ignorant only cuts your own throat!! So here’s a little advice for you...you should definitely improve on your customer service skills, because they lack the ability to TACTFULLY approach your interested buyers with professionalism and empathy!!!

@nlh3 Well, you obviously have some issues that I can't help you with.
Now,for you to try and tell me "it's not just about the seller's benefit" & that "it works both ways" ...I was ONLY a buyer at one point, now I'm a buyer,a seller and a collector. So,who the hell do you think you are preaching to me about how things work? Then reminding me xmas is around the corner and how you have to limit your spending, but you're experiencing some type of delusion ...
right_on_time
...about where I suggested a price range to you based on my financial responsibilities to Poshmark...what are you talking about, woman?
I mean, don't get mad at me because you don't know anything the place you're trying to spend money,or that you don't consider the fact that lowball offers are taken as an insult. I don't need your troubled advice or business from somebody who's miserable for other reasons

@right_on_time additionally, if you’re going to use “numbers” to sway your buyers into paying a higher price, then you really should brush up on your math! Your quote of 20% of your earnings, which I understand as a previous seller on Etsy - operates much the same. That’s YOUR DUES for advertising and selling your products through their website! You stated it would leave you with $5 from a $10 dollar sale; which according to mathematics, a $5 dollar profit equates to 50% of the sale.

You need some serious professional help, namely a checkup from the neck up. Now,I'm about to embarass you & put your place. You're under some delusional cloud either because you didn't take your meds or you nred some. The numbers I gave you were to provide ,my point of view & why it wasn't an acceptable offer.Actually, above & beyond what most seller's would do as a show of ggod faith, not a tool to sway buyer's to spend more money, which is absolutely a ridiculous assumption with ZERO basis.

Then you act like you've made some kind of discovery or "gotcha" with an attitude that the 20% commission are MY DUES for use of the venue. Why you became that excited at all is another indication of how unstable you are since nothing I said suggested that fee was anything different other than that.Psycho.

And then, from your imagined high horse you spout off about my lack of math skills as your delusion continued. In your frenzy you apparently abandonded any 3rd grade reading skills you may have had because you completely ignored the part where I entered a new battery into the equation. Time for YOUR 3rd grade LESSON IN MATHEMATICS! $10-20% of $10 = $8...$8-$3 (cost of new battery) = wait for it...............................................$5 !!!
right_on_time
Imagine that, exactly what I said it would be before you lost what's left of your mind. MATH LESSON OVER! Considering your mental state,I'm gonna refain from wasting any more time being nicer than I should have been. Misery is surely missing your company by now,so please go away.

UNBELIEVABLE!
