melindathetall @dsestuff @kristingravatt I am also receiving unreasonably low offers from this user. Dear Nancy, a $6 offer for a flawless $89 dress listed for $25 means the seller of that dress only earns $3.05 after Poshmark takes $2.95 (from all sales under $15) - and in my case it costs $1 to package, ship items so I’d earn $2.05 for a dress that costs more than 44 times that. Ouch.

melindathetall I’m very open to negotiating items in my closet (my last sale was for $10 less, or 25% the listed price), but please keep in mind sellers are trying to make sales that are worth the time, effort we put into our clothes and presenting them. Thanks & have a great day!

catsdraggeditin @melindathetall Me too - over $100 dress NWT & I was already selling it for only $15. Not good enough. This low-ball buyer wanted for $8! I block lowballers immediately because I’ve learned that when I’ve sold to them, they create drama. The willingness to undercut other ppl is a good indicator for what may happen once they receive the item. They want it for free & many will open cases based on false defects.

catsdraggeditin @melindathetall So true. Many amazing ppl. The majority are fantastic. Seeing the other comments encouraged me to say something. Sellers work to educate buyers (as you did so beautifully) & in doing so other sellers are alerted to a potentially problematic transaction/buyer. You’re welcome & thank you. allaribalta @melindathetall @dsestuff @kristingravatt @something2see Just got an $8 offer on a NWT $130 Calvin dress selling for $30. I tried to counter $35 but my unsubtle passive/aggressive “tutorial” hit a wall. Seems you can “counter” higher. Party 💩ing algorithm!

catsdraggeditin @allaribalta Aww. Don’t feel bad. Some buyers are new & don’t know so - of course - you care. Others try to undercut dramatically to shore up product to sell here later/elsewhere. Most intriguing the prices those buyers set for items they’ve bought from sellers they’ve lowballed. Always room to negotiate w/considerate offers...but $8 on a NWT $139 item. Something smells & it’s not your blocked counteroffer.

catsdraggeditin @allaribalta Most ppl want to work pricing out but reason I don’t w such low offers is because I’ve learned from times I’ve accepted in true kindness that it comes back to bite me. When a potential transaction feels off from beginning, there’s typically a reason. This new buyer had a chance to view comments so she offered you $8 likely after seeing prev remarks.

darlingfuschia My apologies about the deodorant marks. This sort of thing has happened one too many times and it’s bc I have other people doing some of that type of work, inspecting and steam cleaning etc bc my inventory is getting so large. Anyway no excuse is good enough! I’m really won’t let this happen again. I hope you love the dress anyway.
