bsaul Hi there. I saw you were interested in madodoh1234's opal ring. I just wanted to let you know that the stone in that ring is not opal, but opalite, an artificial stone made from glass. Opalite has a very distinct look, and it's clear to see in the photos. A genuine opal of that size would cost much more.

bsaul I highly doubt that one is--probably just a generic white stone. The most popular type of opal is translucent with flecks of color throughout.
