nataliaroberts @jennette21 I'm clueless and don't get this at all. It had me listed as a boutique but I'm not. I have a bunch of nice things that I no longer wear and found picture of it on the internet so people could get a better idea of it instead of me just hanging it on my door.

jennette21 @nataliaroberts I know its a little confusing in the beginning. Everyone has the boutique and closet option in their closet but you can sell boutique until you have at least 10+ sales and apply to be one with Poshmark. So I wouldn't worry about that yet.

jennette21 Posh is a social selling site so you start off with no one following you then people start to find your closet. You should start following people as well. When you list items for sale in your closet and share them then others will share them too. You'll see more and more followers. When someone shares your item its nice if you share an item back from their closet.

jennette21 To share depending what your sharing on I usually share on my phone hold your finger on one of your closet items you want to share and it should popup a share and like option. Click share and it shares your item to the feed. You'll get shares of those by other closets. Like I said its kind of nice to do share for share in return. You should start by sharing you own closet several times a day to get exposure and follow and share other people.

jennette21 Its a bit of work in the beginning to get going. Try to take good pics. Take them where you get the best light. Natural light is good.

jennette21 Make sure you have good decriptions. People tend to search brands a lot so have brand name, size, what it made of, measurements etc. Does it have cap sleeves, scalloped hem etc. Do you know the actual name of item...Free People Madison Top etc. Observe other closets that was a great help to me. The Posh Etiquette section on the app is probably a lot more detailed then me so I would check that out.

jennette21 One more thing make sure you take actual pics of your item if your going to use a stock photo. How do they know if its in good condition.
