Have been taken advantage of by some, but I think it's part my fault, too. I am a people pleaser and that's why I am bad at selling! 😝 To sell you must SHARE SHARE SHARE - yourself and others closets! Exposure is what does it!

tberger22 @nataliebhn Of course be scrupulously honest! I have refused some offers that I realized I should have taken after the fact, so just keep a dialogue open with the seller. Counter those offers, even the ones that are insulting! 🤗 And ask questions- I have met lots of really nice people on here. My name is Grace, nice to meet you! Your closet is really cute, btw!

karint Hi Natalie! All the ladies I listed above have been wonderfully supportive to me during my time on this forum, and they all happen to have amazing closets as well! I'm sure you've heard this before but sharing really does make a difference- it gives you a chance to advertise what you are selling either through sharing your own items or through return shares from others (con't)

karint Also, the best advice I can give you is to apply for suggested user status as soon as you can. The requirements aren't stringent but I don't remember what they are anymore. You could easily look it up though. It does take about 3 months for it to come through so the sooner you apply the better. When you do get it your followers will increase dramatically and lead to more closet visibility and shares. Best of luck to you!

I do have one question actually. I try to share as much as possible and always return shares but I typically only have time to share once or twice a day because I am so busy.

wardrobewear @mountaingoat It is wonderful to meet a fellow dancer on here!! ❤I used to only do ballet but due to a serious injury, I transitioned to modern and ended up loving it even more. Outside of ballet and modern, I only know a bit of West African dance. Your experience in Ghanaian dance and music is very impressive! I'm sure I could learn a lot from you! karint I once saw a post (can't remember where) that showed the level of Poshmark activity throughout the day in a bar graph- you might try a search online but from what I do remember, the peak hours coincide with the parties. So 10am, 1pm, and it gets most active around and during the evening party 5-8pm and starts to drop off hour by hour afterwards. All those are PST times, I'm not sure which time zone you are in :)

karint D'oh. I just saw the rest of your messages! Where in FL are you? I'm always miserable during the summer humidity/heat (baaad hair days). About the SU status, you probably won't hear back until they notify you that you are one, I actually never even got that. One day I noticed I was getting an insane # of followers over the course of about an hour and checked the page where it's lists SU's and I was there.

brunomars90 Hi Natalie! Welcome to Posh! I'm definitely a fan of your style and clean covershots. Great job! Some helpful tips: ALWAYS KEEP your closet POSH COMPLIANT (no used makeup, no perfume, no nail polish, used lingerie, etc) and definitely SHARE your closet daily and those of other Poshers as well. Staying posh compliant will open doors for you - acquiring host picks, becoming a suggested user, co-hosting Posh Parties, more followers, etc.

kjoyhm @nataliebhn Try to share as much as you can, especially during party times. Even if you don't have a theme-appropriate listing, share to your followers (not the party) - people are actively looking at their feeds during party time.

kjoyhm @nataliebhn I do flat lays because I don't model my clothing, and it makes for a clean cover shot. I use a jumbo white poster board (or a dark gray one for white items). That also enables me to move my board to where the light is best. 🙂
