janelascloset @natasha11107 Hi Natasha, I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner. One way to know if someone likes your item they put a like on it. They sometimes like things that they don’t plan on buying. When someone likes something in my closet I send them an offer with our new offer for likes. Sometimes they buy it because you take 20% off plus some shipping.

janelascloset @natasha11107 another is if they bundle some items—-I have it set up in my closet they get 20% for 2 or more items. Plus I send them an offer with a personal offer too. Some people send you an offer and you decide if you want it or counter offer. Of course there are some people that just buys your item and you get a message.

natasha11107 @janelascloset Hello Janet! Thank you so much for all of your information. Very useful. I just have a couple more questions for you! I was wondering about shipping and costs. I recently added some clothes to my closet and was looking at the shipping information. Basically, I saw that all sales are final and the buyer pays a shipping fee when buying the item. Do you know if the seller has to pay for shipping and how much it is? Also is Poshmark only for the US or do you ship internationally?

janelascloset @natasha11107 Yes, the buyer pays for shipping which is normally $6.49. So, if someone buys an item for $10 it would be $16.49. You would get $7.05 because Poshmark takes 20%. Poshmark only sells in the US and it’s territories like Puerto Rico.

natasha11107 @janelascloset so they would give me $7.05 to keep ?How much does poshmark keep because 20% means they would give back more than $7? Just unclear about this

janelascloset @natasha11107 The least that Poshmark keeps is $2.95. This is what they keep for little amounts. If you sell something for $25. You get $20. You don’t have to figure it out Poshmark does it for you. Under My Balance—you would see—pending and redeemable. The buyer has three days to accept your item. If they don’t accept it the system will give you the money on the fourth day.

janelascloset @natasha11107 We don’t have to figure out anything Poshmark puts the sellers money in their account. Like I said before the buyer pays the shipping cost.
