One thing to do is build your followers. There are many follow games on Poshmark. These are a quick and easy to gain potential buyers.

newboutique @jill_lafleur I tend to split my shares 50/50, half sharing my closet and half sharing others. It helps to share closet that are selling the same size and style as you are selling. Also, you can email Posh about becoming a suggested user. The waiting list is several months long so the sooner you can get on it, the better.

newboutique @jill_lafleur It seems that buyers either buy right when they like an item or they buy when there is a price drop. If you drop the price more than 10% there is often a shipping incentive sent to those who liked the item. It is really a matter of how much time you have to invest in Poshmark. The more active you are the quicker you will build a following and the more sales you will have. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions I am always here to help.

newboutique @sunshinevibs18 Congratulations, saving for college is a great goal! The boxes I use are from USPS. You can get them for free at the post office or even order them online and they are delivered right to you. I haven’t lost money on any items but I have had some in stock longer than I would like.

newboutique @sunshinevibs18 Posh deals with all the returns. I have had a few but all my experiences have been smooth. I usually drop prices during CCO or to renew attention on an item. I have a rock bottom price in mind so I only drop to that level. Personally, I am happy with my choice to have a boutique. It is hard work but the extra money is nice and I enjoy it. And do you take your own photos or use them from the website you order from? And when you order can you pick what sizes you get and how many items your getting in it? Or is it usually a set rate for a certain amount of items and sizes?

newboutique @sunshinevibs18 I don't use Posh's wholesale. There are too many poshers with the same items so it keeps the prices low. I applied for my business license (in NY it is $25 and takes less than an hour) and buy from online wholesale sites. Most wholesalers allow you to download and use their stock photos. If they don't offer ask, most are willing to work with you. Usually the packs are preset with the sizes you can order. That is the part I like the best, shopping!

newboutique @lancylot Thank you, you are so kind! You are off to a great start, Coach and Michael Kors sell well on Poshmark. I started by selling items from my own closet and I used that money to buy more stock. Eventually I got my business license and started selling retail. My best advice is share a lot, your items and other poshers. It will help build your followers and that tends to lead to my sales.
