ushouldvecalled This does not follow posh etiquette rules. The girl basically made you believe she was going to buy two items so you would cancel the sale of the crop top and sell her the blouse for $2 profit of the previous sale. Clearly I wanted the top too however I would never comment on an item that already sold offering $2 more.

ushouldvecalled But the offer that gets accepted is the price of the item. If you were bidding on an item on ebay and put your max bid on an item and it sold above your max bid by $1 dollar of course you would've spent a dollar more to win the item but that is not the price you offered.
