jnowak397 Hello nicole, I received the ram skull sculpture and the gold T-Rex figurine. Unfortunately the post office managed to damage the peace. The left horn had a section of it broke off probably one quarter of the horn. The right horn has the right tip broken off it. They're awesome appears to be a crack in the base. Finally on the base there appears to be a crack in that also. When I received the box it appeared to be in good shape with one corner dented. You packed it extremely well.

jnowak397 It's really unfortunate because I like the piece a lot. I took photographs of everything. I didn't bother to even remove the horn sections from the left horn. I didn't even notice the tip of the right horn missing until I looked at it a second time. And I did not notice the tip to the right horn but I didn't look very thoroughly through the box. I can't seem to find the record of our transaction because I did file a report on it.

thriftasauraus @jnowak397 hi there! That is really sad to hear because it was a beautiful piece !! :( You will need to contact poshmark in the section where you accept the item and open a claim.. they will ask for photos and other information. The post office may be liable for the damage as well. USPS must have opened and inspected the package… And then did not repack well.. I take pride in my pieces and am sad that you did not receive it intact! 😢 I am sorry this happened

jnowak58397 @thriftasauraus It didn't appear to be opened and repackaged. It really appeared to be packed well. You can see in the photos I included that it was dented in on one corner which I think caused the damage. It can probably be repaired providing I can find all the pieces. The pieces to the left horn are in the packaging that was wrapped around it. I'm not too sure about the right horn. I have to go through the box. In my opinion I shouldn't have to repair the sculpture due to USPS negligence.

thriftasauraus I’m really sorry this happened, because I was excited for you to receive it! I am not able to see any photos regarding the damage 😢 It’s not showing on my end that a case has been opened with Poshmark. Unfortunately once an item has been shipped I have no authority in the process, it all goes through Poshmark. But would love to help in anyway I can because I am sad that this happened! 😢 please let me know if I can provide any other information.

jnowak58397 @thriftasauraus I hope this correspondence is directly to you and doesn't post publicly on Poshmark. Anyhow I received a complete refund from Poshmark. Did they compensate you for the item? USPS insurance should cover the total cost of this. You should not be out any money. If you are please let me know. They refunded the entire amount and $13 of that was for the T-Rex which was undamaged. Please let me know that the post office was held accountable and covered the money.

jnowak58397 I have a question for you. did this piece come painted this gold color or did you paint it? I couldn't locate the piece of Ram's Horn on the right horn so I modified it and use the real mccoy. I'm just trying to figure out so I don't have to spray the whole thing if you did paint it what color gold did you use? if not I think I can probably find some nail polish that is relatively close.

thriftasauraus @jnowak58397 I bought it that color, but I looked up and rustoleum has a color called champagne mist that looks similar, if you wanted to spray paint it. Nail polish works too! :) Omgosh! I saw the pictures of the modified horn. That is so awesome to see! Thank you for sharing! Makes me happy to see you were able to fix it! 😁
