nyklesmith @serena4957 hello neighbor, I'm doing just fine and yourself? No I don't do live sales. Not for me. I don't think. The only thing I could really use help with is finding a good place to source inventory. I really struggle. I can't seem to find anywhere that isn't already all picked over. How did you get so much Torrid? That's amazing. You have a pretty nice closet yourself.

serena4957 @nyklesmith Well hi. Glad to here your doing well. Well I'm a shopaholic. unfortunately Plus I have thyroid issues so my weight goes up and down. That's why I have so many different sizes. Some of the clothes are from friends and my daughter. I get stuff from thrift stores and from resale boxes on Poshmark.

serena4957 Or if I see a good deal I buy it. E. bay is a good source too, but make sure you don't go over on an item and make sure you can make at least 20$ off of the item. Check out the auctions on E. bay I've been in luck and have been the only bidder and some how I catch it when it's about over. And to be honest with you I've spent most of my profit for the first year on inventory too

serena4957 I just got back from Hawaii visiting my daughter and helping her with her home water birth. Poshmark helped me get there. I had one customer send me 500$ to help me get there. I couldn't believe it. I've never done anything like this before. I just keep having a good attitude and thinking positive. I'm struggling with that right now though. Sales aren't where I would like them but I always have to remind myself that's the way Poshmark is.

nyklesmith @serena4957 I am a newbee. Only just started in March. I already made ambassador though. I average about a sale a day. Is that good for how new I am? I mean can I expect it to get better? No you haven't bought anything from closet. Yet.

serena4957 @nyklesmith Well of course you can hope to get better than one a day. One thing I’ve learned is you can never count on a sale or control anything when it comes to sales. Ty can be doing everything your supposed to be doing and then some and get not one sale. For instance right now I’ve sent out 60 10% offers in the last 12 hours.

serena4957 You would think that I would get one sale. Right? Hell no! Your doing really well if your getting one sale a day. When I first started I didn’t get a sale for 6 weeks. A month ago I made 2000$ Can’t seem to get back there. Loved when that was happening. But poshmark did something to there algorithm.

serena4957 It messed up sales for everyone. My sales haven’t been the same sense. No one’s have. So count your blessings that your getting one a day and don’t take it for granted cause it can stop in a split second. Just thank the lord every time you get a sale. Always always share others closets. Share share share. Can’t say it enough cause that’s how you get sales. And follow your brands too.
