littlebithad12 Hi! Nikki! I was headed down the mountain to the post office this afternoon, when I drove into a snow storm. I no longer have my 4WD truck and it would be too dangerous for little Dodge Dart to continue. I turned around headed home; where I drove through a white out! Yay!! I made it home safely!!! I will try to get out again tomorrow. Your jeans are all packed and are waiting to be shipped. They'll be later than I'd like, but they will arrive. Have a restful night!

I used to spend my summers in Gold Hill when I was a kiddo; sometimes we'd visit the children's museum in Jacksonville. Some of my favorite memories were made there. littlebithad12 @missnikki028 Thank you. It was really a matter of planning. My parents were both in the Army during WWII. At a very young age I learned of their VA benefits. I figured the military was the right thing for me. I joined the Marine Corps when I was 18. I received training in Aviation Electronics and this opened the door for the rest of my life. I bought my place on a VA loan. One day as I looked around I realized that this was my little girl dream!

littlebithad12 Nikki!!! Finally the snow disappeared yesterday and I was able to mail your darling jeans! They are expected to reach you some time on Saturday. This date is only a guess by the USPS, because of Co- VID they are over come with packages and are short staffed. We had a dusting of snow last night (which we don't get much of normally) and temps in the 20's brrrrrr! It's icy outside! I'll be staying close by the fireplace today with a hot cup of coffee in hand. Thanks again for the update 🙂

littlebithad12 It was 20° last night and my poor goat and chickens. When I went out to feed them, this morning I said to Ricky, (the goat), " It was a cold one last night!" He nodded yes really big. He's a really smart goat...i have to pad lick the front gate so he can no longer squeeze his fat self out onto the state highway I live on! I've seen him pull on the lock to see if it was unlocked. He is very protective and puts himself between someone else and me. My daughter says he's just like a big dog!😃

missnikki028 @littlebithad12 Ricky sounds like a sweetheart! Animals are the best companions in my opinion. Their unconditional love is something we can all learn from. Our neighbor's cat spends a lot of time in our house, luckily he gets along just fine with our own kitty.

littlebithad12 @missnikki028 That is so sweet that your neighbor's kitty loves yours. I swear they can all understand as well as speak huuuumon, but just don't. I was out on the porch one evening just at dusk. My kitchen window was open and my mama kitty was sitting on the sill when I heard "Mama come in!" then a most insistent "Mama come in!!!" I went in. There were cougar tracks out there the next morning. 😯

The first couple of times you wash your ladies be sure to wash the separately or with like colors in case the dye fades a bit. I washed a deep red dress with a white dress with flowers...it came out beautifully dyed a light pink...it was my husband who didn't appreciate his pink underwear.🤣 My wishes for you and yours are health, safety, and most of all...happiness for always!
