glamaffair continuation: I also save all the water bottles caps & re used the coffee creamer large container, cut a slit on the lid so he can insert the water bottle cap. He likes inserting the caps. It keeps him entertained for a good while.

glamaffair Cont: I was pretty lucky Efy never put objects in his mouth. I don’t know if Dottie would enjoy doing something like that. They seem to like the act of repetition. If Dottie doesn’t put objects in her mouth maybe you could give the piggy bank a try.

pinkdog44444 @glamaffair I hate that you can’t send long messages on here. I tend to talk too much and send people multiple messages, so it doesn’t bother me if you do. I like talking with you! You are lucky he never put much in his mouth. Dottie loves repetition too! I think she would like that but she tends to have some muscle problems due to the cmv so like with puzzles she can get frustrated if her hands won’t work like she wants and push the piece in the right spot.

pinkdog44444 @glamaffair she’s smart so she knows where the pieces go, but when her hands don’t work she gets mad and will throw them & have a meltdown. We are working on those. Her favorite thing to do with a toy is flip it over and over in her hand. There is something soothing to her about that sensation. For a long time that was how she would “play” with her toys.

pinkdog44444 @glamaffair Now she will have toys talk/act stuff out which is great progress. I’m so proud of her. And yesterday she used the potty (at school) for the first time! Now if she would just do that at home lol. I’m really inspired by the relationship you have with your son. I think they just like us to be near them. Dottie loves me just to sit next to her while she plays or watches her shows.

glamaffair @spatulaqt I’m so glad Dottie has toys she loves to play with. They all have their special likes. My son has poor coordination, poor finger dexterity & has bad depth perception. I hope you try the inserting items in slots, be it coins in a piggy bank or items in a slot. It’s a good exercise for their motor skills. Good luck on the potty training.

glamaffair Cont: My son used diapers until he was seven. Believe me, I was so ready for him to stop using diapers. I feel bad for the parents who have children whom are unable to learn but I’m sure Dottie will. Her using the bathroom, at her daycare is a good start.

It wasn’t even my size but I fell in love with it. I wear a size 14 to 16. I’d like to cancel the order, I’m really sorry but again I’m not in a rush.
