lostinny @maplekitten1965 So we can really relate. Unfortunately, I can't even get a job because I am completely homebound and have severe memory loss due to MS-like neurological autoimmune condition. Haven't found a treatment that works. It's very tough to keep going :(

maplekitten1965 I I totally understand! This is the first job interview in over 10 years! I lived in a tiny town in Illinois in Alton Illinois and there I was 7 hours on Amtrak to Chicago and only on busses 3 busses to MetroLink in St Louis both ways! Now I am in Vermont and closer to some places such as University of Vermont! I am trying for a job to there!

maplekitten1965 I got really bad bad sick in 2000. It was during the beginning of my 3rd Semester at Vermont Law School! I had an acute glaucoma attack! I became highly sensitive to all light! And if you are unable to read in law school your in trouble! So I had to take off 8 months of medical leave! I was off an entire semester and a summer!

lostinny @maplekitten1965 Good luck with the job! I used to work as a litigation paralegal and got my BS in legal studies, so I understand how much reading is required at a law school. I am glad you were able to return and graduate. I didn't apply to a law school, when I was healthy - big mistake.

maplekitten1965 Law School is not easy! It’s like a War of sorts! It is highly stressful and I got sick right in the middle! And none of the doctors at the hospital believed Iwas physically ill! They seemed to think I was faking to avoid Law School! UntilI lost my sight due to an acute glaucoma attack! And I also had a chest X-ray! And it showed lesions on my lungs! But see the Students could not read my chest X-ray yet! I had to wait a week until the actual doctor saw how all the Lymph Node

lostinny @treasures2luv No:( I don't have a blood relative who can be a donor. I am still waiting, getting checked monthly, but I got into the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to a great surgeon, so I feel I am in good hands now. And I am going to move from Queens to Manhattan to be closer to the hospital, and save money & energy on traveling. Thank you for asking - very thoughtful!
