noah8443 @designeraddictz hi, I’m not sure how to reach out besides replying. That’s one of my questions which is how to get in contact with buyers and other poshers, also why do I get so many Bots asking me to email them and text them so that they can scam me??? I have only ever gotten those comments on my items I have had no one actually interested. Can you tell me why it’s all scammers and bots on poshmark?

noircoco @noah8443 lol 😂 I feel your frustrations! They particularly target New Accounts so you are on there radar. People new to Poshmark unfortunately are the ones that fall for the scam because they are very Interested to sell their items right away & no one has warned them yet. Posh Mark has a no contact out of the app for outside sales. So to reach a buyer you comment below, or at their item to a bundle and a private chat opens up.

noircoco @noah8443 The best thing you can do is report the comment in the little flag icon, just below the comment. Poshmark usually immediately removes the comment and their account gets flagged. The more flags they get the better the chance there account will be removed completely. I will add one of your items to a bundle so you can see the chat I am referring to.

noah8443 @designeraddictz gotcha. Thank you. I know they are all scams but it’s particularly annoying when I try to post a bunch of stuff and I’m already getting 20% of my earnings taken which is more than anywhere else I sell, so I really don’t want to have to deal with more and more of these bots that try and scam me.

noircoco @noah8443 yes I completely understand! Most of my items I sell above $500 for the free concierge Authentication service, I like it because it protects both the buyer and the seller so I don’t mind the 20% take for the peace of mind I’m not going to have a return. But my lower-priced items I try to sell elsewhere, because I understand the fees are a bit much for items in the $100-300 range. The longer you’re on the site the less you will see the bots. That I can at least tell you

noircoco @noah8443 tips for selling would be keep sharing your items daily as often as possible, try to include a free goodie even if it’s from the dollar tree (For men are usually include bottle openers) People like free stuff and if your item is just like another one they may prefer to buy from you instead just to get a free item. Trending items also go faster, and just price shop “ sold items” by filtering and make sure your prices are fair.
