lookielu19 Hi Pamela! I saw your rating and wanted to reach out. I think what you are smelling is the tissue paper that the scarf was wrapped in...it is sort of a soapy smell. I noticed it on this last order of tissue paper bought. I am sorry. It is a good idea to wash items you recieve anyway since this was not listed as new. Have a great rest of your holiday!
