intellizgentsia Hello - thank you for the rating. I can guarantee you that I shipped this item dry as it was just sitting in my closet for months. I live in CA so it does not rain here much and the day I took it to the post office it was dry as can be. I am assuming it could have gotten wet once USPS took possession. I apologize that this happened and I hope that the jacket is washable and still able to wear - enjoy :)
