It negates the 4.99 shipping when you counter, just incase you weren't aware.So, it's just a $3 difference from your offer to the current offer which expires at 5:30 PST. pamela061 @vintagequeen714 yes but there's also a $4 ""buyer protection fee". I know you didn't add it, but I'm seeing it for the first time. I didn't see it until my purchase was complete. I think it's unnecessary and annoying. I just read that fee goes up with the price of the item. I think it will hurt sales.

vintagequeen714 I agree with you, I think they should just leave things being straight forward and simple, with these tiered and added fees it's more like the other platforms now which to me is annoying. I was not aware what the fee to the buyer is, but $4 seems high to me. I think they are trying to recoup their costs by cutting the sellers fees slightly, but I also think this may backfire on them.
