They were made in a different era kind of like a time capsule. Would be a shame to toss them just because it’s not in favor today. The majority come from Germany and Canada. Best Pam 😘

glamour4less @ttsvintage Hi, Thank you for that 😊 Everything I have learned was from my furrier here in San Diego “Millards” she has been in business for 60 years and can fix most anything. I fix simple things myself but take difficult things to her. Dry rot being difficult. I think she uses a type of wide fabric tape like seam binding on the hide side, but I don’t know how it sticks on. I don’t think she hand sews dry rot it would just pull apart. Maybe check uTube tutorials? Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
