pamelaannwilson @fabricnanny my grandmother was a country quilter- necessary warmth- I’m touched when I see prints of muted flowers and colors she’d use for a quilt- fortunately, my Mom still has two or three- 100 💯 PerCent Cotton- Cotton Batting also- She and Grandfather were Southern Cotton Farmers- Cotton near and dear to my heart! Have considered going to a class, not sure U have the patience, even though I’m slow by nature and get lost in details. Pam W

fabricnanny @pamelaannwilson Love that quilting is a part of your family!! I learned to sew from my grandmother, but really jumped full in when I discovered the Gee’s Bend quilters. Totally modern, vibrant artists, way before “modern” was even a thing. Haven’t looked back since. You should take a class, for sure. Look at your local shops or quilt guilds for options😊

On Good Friday, we all go crabbing in Cameron Parish, adult kids, girl friends, married children, and their small children. Last year no crabs, this year almost 200 large blue claw crabs.
