Hi! I'm Pat. I am retired, but I keep busy with volunteer work, taking care of my husband, animals & home. I have 2 lovely grandchildren that I get to see every couple weeks. poptart57 @greyhound612 you mentioned if I had any questions, well I have one, how does following people and sharing effect my own shop? I know it may sound like a silly question, and I have read info about Poshmark, but I am still unclear.

greyhound612 @poptart57 It is not a silly question at all😀As you follow people, often they will follow your closet too❤️By sharing items from another Posh closet, you promote them to your followers or to a posh party and often that Posher will return the favor and share your items with their followers. This increases the # of potential buyers who will see and purchase your items for sale. I’m not sure that completely explains it, but let me know if it helped a little😻

poptart57 @greyhound612 Yes it does help, I kinda figured that was how it works, so I have been trying to follow shops and share a couple times a day. Have you noticed any slow down in sales since all this craziness with the coronavirus? I also have a Etsy shop, and had noticed some slow down, but it seems to have picked up a little this week. Can't really blame people for not buying right now, especially for those people that have been laid off their jobs. Thank you for responding.

greyhound612 @poptart57 I haven’t been very active so haven’t had many buyers. Maybe people being home will equal them looking for deals online. When I sold the most, I shared my closet 3x a day (a.m., afternoon and p.m. during the evening “party) to my followers & any Posh party. I followed all who followed me, and also Posh ambassadors and people who listed as liking brands I like. I did private price drops for my “likers” and price drops during closet clear out events.
