alockart @pattycmoore I will be shipping your item tomorrow. My mom is real sick! She needs a lot of help! She also is being tested for thyroid cancer, bone cancer, etc... Friday she was in kidney failure. If we wouldn’t have found her she would have died. It’s been a rough few days. I just lost my father in August. We are praying no cancer and a full recovery!

pattycmoore oh, I am so sorry to hear this. I also have thyroid issues. Mine just stops functioning and has had to be stimulated twice. i was born with half a thyroid, and have been on meds for many years. I experience weight gain and loss, and it''s a mess. however, drs tell me that thyroid cancer is curable. It seems that your mom has a lot of other things wrong with her in addition to the thyroid. You just have to be strong. I know it is a terrible thing to go through but she is scared.

pattycmoore Put on a good front to ease her mind while she's going through this. Encourage her to fight this. Be cheerful and upbeat, even if you have to go outside and cry. We have to pray that the drs know what they are doing and that they will come up with a firm diagnosis and a treatment plan. With that and God's healing hand, she will recover. I believe in the power of prayer, and so must you. Just keep praying and God will heal her.

pattycmoore I am too. I teach English on part time basis at Evangel Christian Academy here in Shreveport for the past 10 years. I am retired from Caddo Parish Schools System after 30 years. I had Achilles Tendon surgery so I have taken off the remainder of year. Do not forget that I need a size 8 There was no place to indicate on the offer the size. I cannot wait to get it.

I also got a message that it was going to be later that it was scheduled to be. This morning the message said it was in transit. That was all.

They help these women to find homes, childcare, and jobs so they can exist without welfare or public assistance. I donate most of my clothing and shoes to them. Beauticians come and do these women's hair and dress them for job interviews. It is a wonderful organization.

pattycmoore Good morning. I am much better, but it was terrible the first 2 weeks! I just don't know when I have ever experienced so much pain in my entire life. My hips and legs cramp and are so sore and ache so bad that they have had to give me muscle relaxers and nerve pain med for those issues. I have stepped down from a morphine type pain med to a synthetic and my next step down will be to Oxycodone. I have started using that laxative for addicts, LOL, I see advertisements for it on tv.

pattycmoore I can't think of the name of it now, but I took my first dose this morning. My stitches are looking great, and I got fitted for an electronic bone growth stimulator that I have to wear 2 hrs a day. The drs say the nerve endings are what is causing the pain in my hips and groin area. That hurts now more than the actual surgery area. They had to take a saw and cut my vertebrae apart before they could replace the cartilage. They had grown together!! That is another reason my bones hurt so bad
