I just saw the rating in the ikea duvet. I am so sorry for the mistake on my end. If you had not accepted it I could return it. I will contact PM and see if we can correct it.from there side. My apologies!

Hello, The standard size for an Ikea twin from their site is
Standard Sizes
Single duvet 135x200cm (53 inches x 78 inches approx). Some brands like The Company store do sell inserts that are a bit larger. Or if you are covering a comforter the sizes are not all standard. I am sorry you are unhappy and did reach out to PM to see if there is a way to refund your purchase.

@fancyfinder I just rechecked the IKEA website and their standard size for twin duvets and comforters is 64x86 not 53x78. I have 2 twin beds in that room and purchased another duvet exactly like the one I purchased from you. The other one came in the original IKEA packaging with the measurements clearly stated on the packaging as 64x86. I also purchased 2 of the exact same comforters inserts and the other duvet fits perfectly.

I made the mistake of accepting it before trying it because I was having new flooring installed in the entire house when it arrived. All of my furniture and belongings were in storage at that time so the workers could access the floors. I assumed it would fit because the other one did. I didn't know how long it would take and Poshmark sent me a notification about accepting it. When the flooring was completed and I moved back into the house was when I tried using it and discovered it was to small

I am not expecting or requesting a refund. It was my mistake for accepting it before trying it because I didn't know how long the flooring work would take. Upon additional research, I have discovered that the standard IKEA twin duvet size is 135x200 (53x78) in the United Kingdom but a larger standard size of 64x86 in the USA. The one you sent me has either been significantly shrunk in the laundry or it is a United Kingdom version.

I definately wish I could have made it right before the one star rating. But I understand your situation with home repair (ugh). @fancyfinder I will see if I can edit the rating. I wasn't aware there was a size difference internationally either until I researched it. My original thought was that it had been significantly shrunk in the wash. I will take your word for it that you were not aware. Unfortunately I will not be able to use the duvet because I had already purchased the comforter inserts and it doesn't fit. Also it was intended to go on a bed that will be used by adults not kids so I don't want to go any smaller.
