pattyrouleau @janicemaryanne , a quick question about shipping. I have some paintings I’d like to sell. Do you know if the poshmark shipping labels work regardless of size as long as they’re less than 5 pounds?

pattyrouleau @janicemaryanne this is what I found under frequently asked questions regarding the size of boxes shipped... “Poshmark uses USPS Priority Mail for all US orders. Per USPS policy, the maximum combined length and girth of the box used must be no greater than 108". This means that the combined measurement of the longest side and the distance around the thickest part of the box cannot be more than 108". Boxes that are larger than 1 cubic foot may be subject to additional charges.”

janicemaryanne @pattyrouleau how big are your paintings? I have found others selling them. I guess you can send any size but pay extra. I think a painting would have to be a nice size to weigh 5 pounds. Are they huge? Or average wall hangings?

pattyrouleau @janicemaryanne my largest paintings are 16x20, the weight shouldn’t be a problem. When I’ve shipped them previously they used measurements and destination to determine postage charge, it’s generally more than $7.45. I don’t want a buyer to receive one with postage due 😳. I will try to locate a painting of that size that is marked “sold” then message the seller to see how the shipping worked out for them 😊🙌 Thank you SO much for trying to help me figure this out ❤️!

janicemaryanne @pattyrouleau no problem. Sorry I couldn't help more. I agree with the over due postage. It happened to me when I first started selling. That was years ago and I still feel bad. I offered to refund but she said no than put that in my rating. It was only a dollar and small change but still I feel bad. Good idea asking another Posher.
