24kprp @jessasioux Thank you, Would you tell me when I can expect shipment for the bag I purchased on Thursday? Will I receive a tracking number? I tried reaching out to the seller of the bag but so far no response. Thank you for your help I'm new to Poshmark and trying to learn how it it works.

jessasioux @24kprp you should receive a tracking number once shipped. You can go into your account and look at your purchases to see if there is one. If you receive no response I believe you can cancel the order after 7 days (pretty sure it is 7 days you can check The FAQ to be sure)

jessasioux I always try to ship the day of or day after purchase. Depending upon when they put in the mail you may not get a confirmation until Monday from the post office. The seller does not receive payment until you hit accept the order so you are protected if it never ships or isn’t as described.

24kprp @jessasioux No, the seller never shipped my order and for that reason I want to cancel immediately! It has been as of December 21st - 9 days. However I don't see the option how to cancel. Fortunately I was able to find an identical bag from a different seller and made the purchase, and it was shipped on Tuesday and I should receive it Friday. Would you please advise me as to how I can cancel my order thank you.

jessasioux @24kprp If your seller doesn't ship your order within 7 days of purchase, you have the option to cancel your order and receive a full refund. You will be able to cancel the order on the 8th day after the order is placed with the following steps: Step 1: Go to your Account Tab Step 2: Select My Purchases Step 3: Click on the item you purchased Step 4: Select Problems/Order Inquiry. Step 5: Select Delayed Order to cancel the order

24kprp @jessasioux Thank you so much for your assistance. For whatever reason, I was unable to see the Cancel Order tab from my cell after going to Order Delayed. However, I just canceled the order from my laptop. I truly appreciate your guidance as this was my 1st purchase. Is this a common practice for a seller not to respond or not send the item in a timely matter? Also, are there things the buyer should be aware of to prevent this type of sellers, considering they ares not rated?

jessasioux @24kprp when you are looking at a closet you can click on the about at the top of the page. This shows a persons love notes received and a few other details so you can determine if they are a good seller or not. I do not believe people not shipping is a huge problem because the seller doesn’t get the money until you receive your shipment. I would recommend when looking at an item read comments on it, check to see when it was last updated.

jessasioux @24kprp And if it seems to good to be true it may be, unfortunately there may be some sellers just trying to get you to take transactions off of Posh so you are not protected
