peggiewc @kamari_closet I’m new to this and had a few questions. If it seems obvious that something in my closet isn’t going to sell is there a way to take the listing down? Also, as far as packaging a sale, is there a particular box I have to use or can I use a bag mailer? Thanks for your offer to help!

kamari_closet @peggiewc to delete the listing from your phone app, open item, click edit, then scroll to bottom of page. There is a a bar in red that says Delete item. Click that and confirm. Before giving up on the item entirely, you may relist it again after deleting it. Maybe you need better pics, more detailed description and title, look for similar items that sold and see if you are priced too high. Relisting refreshes it as Just In and May draw interest to it.

kamari_closet @peggiewc Relisting your item marks it as Just In and puts it at top of search results. Also, share your closet 3-5 times daily to followers and during parties. It keeps your items fresh as Just Shared and puts at top of search results. Sometimes deleting and relisting is an important part of keeping stale items fresh.

kamari_closet @peggiewc you can use free USPS Priority Mail and Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes, Tyvek envelopes, and bubble mailers. DON’T use Express Mail boxes. You can pick up at Post Office it order for free at USPS.com. Just set up an account and order their free shipping boxes and mailers. Poshmark has a FAQ tab that can answer in more depth. Hope this helps.

kamari_closet @peggiewc you’re welcome. You should also spread the love by sharing items from other’s closets. This will result in more followers and having your closet shared back to more Poshers. It’s all about the “Algorithm “. More shares + more followers= more potential sales. If you have likers to items try making private offers of at least 10% lower and reduced shipping. It might result in additional sales. Best of luck to you.

When I first joined poshmark you kindly offered to answer questions and I have what is probably a stupid one:( When I want to communicate with a buyer (or any other posher) how do I do that? Do I go to their closet and leave a comment or is there another way? I'm never sure if they receive my question comment. Thanks so much, Peggie.

kamari_closet @peggiewc It depends, but there are a few ways. If they asked a question in your closet hit the reply button located beneath their comment. You can also do this by tapping the arrow in the comment on your news feed. You can go to their closet click about and click on comment balloon the meet the posher Icon on left of screen
