I just send my books out, if theyre not readers, maybe the book will still find its way to someone who wants it. My favorite book??? Hmmm, my goto books, the ones i read over and over again are books of poetry, usually from Lorca or Octavio Paz. For fiction, I like John Irving, nonfiction, Malcolm Gladwell...

thebookmark @pentandpavement I love Defending Jacob. Excellent book that keeps you guessing all the way through it and afterwards. Another book I love is called the life we bury. Both books are the type that you can’t put down.

bluepacific805 Thank you very much for your sharing my items. It’s tough to let go of some of them, but hubby says clear out the stuff, because you have to much. I used to hand make my own jewelry, beaded as you could tell, but my eyes got really bad and my hands shake lol. Which is a big bummer because now I have tons of beads from the gem shows that come to Santa Barbara 2 times a year. Now I’m looking to learn the clothes and purses and that are the best selling.🌺🌺

I try to follow Posh Ambassadors and people who like luxury brands. The more people you follow, the more people will follow you, it's a way to get more eyes on your products.

monascollection @pentandpavement Yes, my husband insisted that I become an LLC when he saw how much time and money I was putting into my hand knitted items and the jewelry, I’ve been retired a year and a half after 30 years of teaching high school Spanish, so I am happiest when I am busy. I’ve been juried into art fairs this year, but a former student suggested Poshmark.

monascollection @pentandpavement So far I’ve spent a lot of time doing photo shoots with models and my jewelry. Just like you I share with anyone that does so with me, because that is the tight thing to do. I also follow those whose boutique/closet whose inventory would go with my work. I agree with you that it is disappointing how many poshers do not reciprocate shares. I have to believe that they aren’t looking into their notifications.

Congratulations on retirement! Speaking of other platforms, have you looked at E T S Y, it would be perfect for your hand crafted designs. monascollection @pentandpavement I’ve definitely learned what a social platform this is. I did meet with someone about ETSY last February. After a year of no sales, he started making a good income. I wonder if there is this kind of social community there, or if you just set up your store and promote yourself. I didn’t choose ETSY because I thought that the price range of listings were at the lower end. Maybe I’m wrong.

pentandpavement @happybeach Hi! Thank you for your kind words, high praise coming from a Chicago Art person. I have several Canon DSLR cameras, my choice to shoot here is the smaller Sl1. The glass is the most important, I use a Sigma 50 mm f1.4. I hope that helps, but looking at your closet I know you would make amazing images with any camera. All the best.
