@tambalynn so I emailed someone that asked me to... she says to send her all of my personal information such as name and address and such to send me a cashiers check and etc etc... is this reasonable? Is this right? I was thinking of meeting at a place like police station to process the transaction. Can you tell me, if this is normal.

@tambalynn yeah I figured it wasn’t right.... is there anyway to report this person? Or leave as is???
Are you able to guide me a little as to how it works with sales here??

@perlabaca There should be a place to report them, ill have to check on that. So if someone buys something in you closet you will get an email from poshmark that an item sold and in that email there will be a prepaid shipping label for you to download and print. You tape the shipping label to your package and drop it off at the post office. The buyer pays for shipping for you don't have to pay at the post office.

@tambalynn ah ok... wow so I don’t deal with the payment situation at all?
And then so they pay Poshmark and then Poshmark pays me? How?
Does Poshmark keep anything?
Thank you FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!

@perlabaca Yep, you got it, Poshmark takes their payment then once the buyer receives the package and accepts it then poshmark pays you and you Tranfer it to your bank account. Poshmark does keep a percentage of the buy. I believe up to $15 poshmark keeps $3 then over $15 i want to say it's 10% poshmark keeps. but if you go to the bottom left of your home pages there are skit of information in there about rates and everything, is really helpful.

Sorry, I mean bottom right of your home page, not left

@tambalynn ah ok. Got it. So for instance if I put this item for $1,550 Poshmark would keep about $155. So if I want closer to the amount I am selling I should raise the price???
