Hi! I'm Petra. Thanks for stopping by! I'm a pro pole dancer and have been since 2009. I had a massive disabling stroke in 2019 from Lupus. I'm just a person, selling my personal closet to supplement my disability income. Most of it is unworn or worn once because life changed when I became disabled. So. Be kind. amword @petrakarlowicz it’s okay! I had procrastinated because I realized I was wearing the wrong sizes. I’m an 8 in open toed Pleasers and 9 in closed toe. I was figuring all of that out when you posted. 😅 I have a few friends that I pole with that have Hella Heels and they rave about them. Just looking at them and you can see the higher quality of them over Pleasers. Do you think they fit similarly?

dance_unbroken @amword They are actually not similar whatsoever in fit or mechanics/how you use your foot in them. It's on my to to list to post a "follow along at home" on my social media so dancers at home can understand how they actually use their current shoe brand, and all the differences between the two.

dance_unbroken @amword I just put up some Hella Sandals that fit US9 for bargain prices. They are labelled US8, but Hella US8 is 25.3cm, and Pleaser US9 is 25.5. So. All my friends here at the studio who are Pleaser 9 fit my Hella 8's perfect.

dance_unbroken @amword I am a street size 8, I have to wear a Hella 7 both in open and closed toe. Pleasers I wore an 8 sandal and a 9 closed toe boot. Easiest way is measure your foot against a flat wall, heel to the corner while standing on a ruler. Hella US8 is 25.3cm, US7 is 24.7cm. I may be posting two Glitterati closed toe boots here too.
