Measurements were in the listing. Both UK and US sizing were given. But again measurements were also in the listing to aid since it is a UK brand

The Uk size was 12. US size was 8. Boden website confirms this. With measurements given (that you could compare to see if it would fit) unsure what else I could have done to ensure this would fit you. All info to make a decision was available
