backes82 @littledog44 I grew up in New Orleans East 1949-1984 and moved to Meraux lived there until Katrina then moved to Slidell. My best friend lives in Arabi.

littledog44 @backes82 wow then you are familiar with Arabi. Meraux and St Bernard Parish got hit hard in Katrina. I actually lived in New Orleans East for a brief period and also Chalmette. I go back and visit my friend every 6 months.

backes82 @littledog44 Yes water was over the roof for too many days and we had the mud from the Mr Go. I lived in Lexington my husband and I were Realtors. Where are you living now

littledog44 @backes82 St Louis now. My best friend was a realtor too. She isn’t anymore. She took me thru Arabi and Chalmette in April after Katrina and I couldn’t believe it. In fact everywhere was just awful. She lost her house in Gentilly. She actually got rescued off a bridge bc they didn’t evacuate right away and ended in a shelter in DC and then flew to my house and stayed here for a few weeks until they figured out what to do next

backes82 @littledog44 Yes there was so much devistation everywhere. If you don’t mind me asking what is your friends name My husband and I were Realtors for over 30 years. We just retired.

backes82 @littledog44 Yes let me know. Mike O’Brien was with Gertrude Gardener and we Lester and Carol Victor were top producers in St Bernard. We worked many other areas as well. Good talking with you who knows maybe when you come to visit we’ll get to meet

nicolereydel1 hi there i happened to see your comment on a coach bag you were looking at. i was interested myself untill i saw the damage. just a friendly response,there are at least 4 holes in the outside canvas that i can see and it would be very noticeable in person😊 just didnt want you to buy it without looking at it VERY closely. have a great day😉😁
