Hi pal1250. The Madewell Fiet Bien top that you purchased actually has a raw distressed hem neckline. It was made and purchased that way. You can look at all of the others for sale on poshmark and they are exactly the same. Free people does their necklines on a lot of their tops that way also; it's the style these days. I would never sell damaged goods, only to hurt my reputation as a good seller. So sorry you weren't happy with the top. Holly @thirstylemon
