sargebill @gmapriscilla that's the truth,nature's blanket. Ft.Lewis, WA. is beautiful, we could see Mt. Rainier from our barracks. Germany is gorgeous!!!!!! We usually get that nasty slush here, Louisiana weather, lol Samantha won't sleep tonight, she's knocked out sleeping like a log.

sargebill @gmapriscilla it is, we would get field glasses and could see the trees. A dry packed snow, not like here. I was on roaming guard near the german- Czech boarder, 4 ft of snow and at night. Didn't pay attention, ended up near a soviet check point.

sargebill @gmapriscilla yeah, they didn't play around. I'm a huge military history nut, blabbering my mouth just a little bit too much once, I was talking with an older man, civilian, noticed a tattoo, asked him if he was SS during the war, never ever bring up WW2.
