quinsanacafe I must be frank with you. I handwashed the sweater just to freshen it up and honestly, it was filthy. When i rolled it up in a white towel to squeeze out the water, my towel was brown in areas. Not yarn colored, but dirt. It also had interwoven animal hairs in it. i do love the swester, but It was pretty gross. After the sweater dries on my drying rach, I will have to have it drycleaned to ensure that it is really clean.

ds_fashions @quinsanacafe Well I was really taken aback by your message and your rating. I never saw your first message until now. I do appreciate your honesty but you must understand that this is definitely not the norm for me. This sweater was vintage. It was not my sweater.

ds_fashions @quinsanacafe When an item is vintage I do not wash it as I leave that up to the buyer. Any garment I would think the buyer would want to wash it before wearing even though I do wash most of my items. Mohair looks like animal hair and this is exactly why you saw it in the sweater. I am very sorry for your experience with this item. I really strive to make my customers happy.

quinsanacafe Truly, I always clean my purchased re-used garments, but, I was so offended by the utter filth that came from this sweater. I know mohair, the hair in this sweater was not mohair.

I am a clean person and I would NEVER sell anything that I thought was filthy first of all… and I would always be honest in the listing if anything was out of the ordinary. I am always learning in this business. Again…I am very sorry for this inconvenience to you.

ds_fashions @quinsanacafe Also..I keep my animals away from my clothing so any hair you found must have been already in the sweater… for me.. with mohair.. it would be hard to notice. So again.. I apologize. I do feel very badly about your experience!!
