Hi Rachel! I noticed you recently bought two palettes from a seller. Have you received them yet? I bought one from the same seller and it was a fake. The peach palette you bought is a fake too.

@rachelicohen you can file a claim if you haven't already accepted them. Yes I looked at the peach and if it's the same one in the pictures it's fake. I did a vlog on fake vs. real peach palette so I've owned both and know what to look for. What is the serial number on the peach? Did you buy the chocolate bar too?

Near the bar code there should be a small printed 3 digit code. In the picture it looks like GB6. Is that correct?

@bethkern21 I don't know if I would describe it as sweet but it definitely has a strong smell, also both palettes were very patchy and not very pigmented

@rachelicohen FAKES!!!!! Ugh!!!! I'm so mad right now!! I can not stand people who pass off fakes as reals. You file a claim and say they are not authentic and hopefully we'll get a refund. I knew as soon as I looked at my box I got a fake. I'm so glad I got in touch with you.

@rachelicohen GB6 is the most used code for fakes. And if you can't smell the peach or runts candy smell through the box it's fake. Same goes for the chocolate. The real ones shadows are like butter! So much pigment and smooth. You can tell a $5 fake from a $50 authentic.

Those 3 digits make up the serial code. I think what you were reading off was the bar code. Almost all cosmetics have a little printed code like that. Oooo I'm steaming over here. I was telling my sister about it and she was telling me she would've never known the difference. Which led me to see if any of the other palettes were fake so I could warn future buyers.

Yes and those cards are also fakes. I know my peach has a sleeve on the inside where the card goes and in the fake one it had no sleeve.
