keesra01 @criticalgoods Thank You! He is an adopted off track thoroughbred I am training to do cross country and hunter/jumper work. This guy has talent in spades! Which is why I like Poshmark. Now I can save money and get back to being stylish and have money for all my tack and training needs!

criticalgoods @keesra01 I thought he looked like a thoroughbred but I couldn't tell from the angle if he was just a super buff quarterhorse... off-track throughbred makes total sense -- they're always so muscular... does he try to buck from time to time? What kind of horse tack do you need and crave most at the moment? What kind of stuff do you wish you had (or had more of)?

keesra01 @criticalgoods he is such a good boy and never offers me a buck, although sometimes I probably have it coming. LOL I have been looking for a pair of gently used brown half chaps. Mine are completely bare and in need if replacing in the near future. Fitz (the OTTB) has pretty much everything he needs. We are always looking for new saddle pads. I would also look at open front jumping boots you may have.

criticalgoods @keesra01 We have a large pair of used chaps that might be too big for you, but I'll make sure to put them up in our closet anyways. We have a handful new saddle pads that I'll get posted in the boutique as well. What's his name and what are your favorite colors to dress him in?

keesra01 @criticalgoods His full name is Fitzwilliam Darcy, but we just call him Fitz. He looks great in crimson, hunter green, and navy. I love superhero stuff too, so anything with Batman, the flash, and others are cool too. My trainer is getting into dressage, and needs lots of dressage related tack.

keesra01 @criticalgoods as a former racehorse, Fitz is not picky about treats, since he didn't get them much on the track. He'll gladly accept any treat, even the healthy stuff. He has been eating Purina lately, but really liked the molasses treats from Smartpak. They were called molasses balls or something? Individually wrapped.

keesra01 He has no hoof problems, which is surprising for a thoroughbred. He has an excellent farrier and is on a dosage of Smarthoof from Smartpak daily. They let you control the dosage, and he gets half of a normal dose

criticalgoods @keesra01 Well Fitz sounds incredibly lucky to have an owner that puts him on such a nice regimen... The Smartpak stuff is awesome that's for sure... no wonder why he looks so gorgeous in his photo.
