“Utility before style, always style” - rjl NYC garment adventurer. I like to “rescue” pieces. I launder, treat, repair, press, alter, steam, and quite often, give it at least one wear. Grew up in a knitting mill sweater factory in the 80s and 90s in queens/BK ... Threads are a thing... When first lockdown hit, I decided to just always have a nice skirt. Just by dressing into “fitted” clothes these days, it is a marvel of its own, right ? It starts with a skirt :) People smile too!! Sharp!
