Hi! I'm Mme G. New to Poshmark in Feb 2018. I’m a French teacher who travels and presents quite a bit. I also host a lot of dressy events for my husband’s business that we all attend. My college daughter is working two jobs where she needs a professional wardrobe. I need to do some spring cleaning for my mom, daughters, and myself as closets are overfilled and we don’t wear enough of it. We’ll see if I get around to clearing space from my husband and son’s closets eventually! Must de-stash!

qiascloset 🙋Hiii, newbie here with another question. When I'm sharing a seller's item from a Posh party, is it better to share within the party or to my followers? mmegratte @qiascloset I share in both. It certainly must bring attention for it to become a host pick. If the person’s item is worthwhile, sharing it promotes higher quality items to be listed and promoted. Just my humble opinion on it. Great that you care about this!

mmegratte @qiascloset a lot of them happen before the party with requests to consider items and the host checking out items from people who RSVP. I received a host pick with a Fabletics top that I shared towards the end of a fitness wear party.

mmegratte @njgrl54 I share when I shop ( three to five for a few poshers who have nice items and a bunch for creative sellers or super styling and layout or people who are polite.) when I’m actively selling. I’m a teacher, so spring and summer are when I do most selling. The more I do on Posh the more I sell in my view. Shares result in my listings moving to the top of searches for people looking for items like mine.

mmegratte @njgrl54 I tried share parties and that built up my followers some but I couldn’t keep up. It wasn’t a nuisance and it faded as soon as I stopped. There are YouTube videos on it. I like the 30 minute system/ method.

mctocco Oh, I meant to say that I borrowed the "Bundle" post it that you liked from another posher. My youngest daughter lived in France for a year on exchange her junior year of college. My cousin is married to a French lady and they have a home there in the Rhône Valley area. and in Montana where they met in the mountains around Yellowstone Park. I also hosted French foreign exchange students... about 10 years ago and those years are very memorable.

pinklotus717 @mmegratte ...The lighter background with the columns & vines is a 7 foot tall backdrop that I rolled up & put away when done. I bought 3 of them, but so far have only used the 1. I can't remember where I purchased them online, but probably Amazon, I'd have to look👀. I have a ton more stuff to list in every size imaginable, so I should probably pull them out & use them for a little more variety😄
