batesnicolea Hey Rayann, You made an offer on one of my listings. I'm new to Poshmark just to sell these couple of dresses, so honestly I'm really still figuring it out. If you're still interested and in the GTA, curious if it's easier to just meet up?

batesnicolea Oh blah, ok. I'm such a worrier because I have never sold online before lolll. So of course 1) want to make sure I don't get scammed and 2) thought it might be nicer for a buyer to try it on given the cost. It seems like Poshmark takes 20% here. I'll go in and counter at $210 (which I think is like $165 to me) - it at least says it'll only be $4.99 shipping for ya since you'd be the first buyer from me if you accept.

rayray1215 @batesnicolea Oh ya, I totally understand! Poshmark is super legit. I've sold a bunch of times and if anything goes wrong they're very helpful! I've never had any issues with payment! Honestly I'd prefer to come in person too, the problem is I wouldn't be able to offer you as much since I have credit. And I'm totally ok with that offer!! If you send it to me I'll accept. I was able to actually try that dress on, they just didn't have this colour!

Since you've sold before, maybe you can answer this last bit of confusion for me: Is it just the 20% Poshmark takes or is the seller hit with GST/HST or something too?? (I promise I will learn how all of this works lolll).

rayray1215 @batesnicolea No worries at all! So I just sold shoes for $70 and I got $54.18 after their fees. $70 less the 20% would be $56 so there was an extra $1.82 they took.
