Hi Shawna. You purchased a bundle of diapers from me earlier today. I am so very sorry and embarrassed, but I made a huge mistake. I went to the post office to ship the diapers and was informed that I owed $45 to complete the shipping. I foolishly didn't realize that the standard shipping label only covers 5 lbs. The diapers weigh 27 lbs.

I simply can't pay that much for shipping, so I would like to propose a few alternatives. 1) I can cancel this sale and split up the bundle into six 5-lb increments, which you can purchase separately with no added shipping required; 2) I can cancel this sale and relist the items to include half the shipping cost - thereby splitting it with you, or; 3) I can cancel the sale oitright with my deepest apologies for the mistake.

@meglion81 oh, wow! I would of grossly underestimated that too! ok, well. I've looked around online and the cheapest shipping I found was $35 through mer car I. which splitting it up seems like it would be about the same amount. I would have to wait until the refund came back to my account though before I can spend that much again. if you would be willing to list on mer car I, I have $ in my account there and could purchase right away. let me know what you prefer to do.

@a_sob Thank you so much for understanding. If I am reading it correctly, according to mer car i shipping table, it will be $45 to ship up to 50 lbs via UPS. (That is a savings since USPS was $60 total - $45 plus the $15 credit for the label I had.) I will give it a try. I am going to cancel this sale then. I will let you know when I get it listed.

@a_sob In a fun twist, the shipping has started tracking because the postman scanned the package when I tried to send it! I have requested Poshmark support to cancel the sale, but it may take a short time...

@a_sob hi, I started the process of listing the diapers on mer car I. when I list the weight and the size of the box, the shipping label is calculated to cost between 60 and 70, depending upon the carrier. I stopped by Fed Ex and UPS to get estimates and both said it would be $55.

are you willing to split the shipping with me?
also, I have never used mer car I. when I signed up, it said I could choose to ship myself with tracking. do you know how I would do that? I can try to figure it out, but guidance is always appreciated! 😃

@meglion81 so if you don't put in the dimensions it cuts the price in half! I've never had issues shipping that way. if you wanted to ship on your own, you would purchase the label somewhere else besides mer Cari, like pirate ship or usps. if you list as "reserved for ReLuV" I can search it and message you from there. plus makes it easier for me to find it 😁
