rjellen @nevadakayaker Hey there! I'm seriously considering this jacket. How have you been storing it? Are the elastic cuffs and pull strings in good shape (i.e., are super taught to keep the heat in)?

rjellen @nevadakayaker My husband has the same jacket. I can see from the baffled construction and color that this jacket looks to be from around 2014, which is why I'm concerned about the price point with the elastic components, as I've see short lifespan on my husband's hoody. rjellen @nevadakayaker No need to find a receipt! I’m just curious about it’s current elastic integrity. When you put the jacket on, is it tight around wrist?

nevadakayaker Wrist elastic is fairly tight for me. I just did photos for a second jacket in purple. It may be a little tighter on wrists but not really sure. Both are toasty warm. BTW, Patagonia is good about repairing their gear. They repaired a jacket for me that barbed wire ripped when hiking. Small cost as it was my fault. They did a great job and still have the jacket in my car. It might be worth asking about your husband's hoody.
