reeseheughins @azcountrymom well hi there thank you for the invite hospitality I am curious how does this app work as far as purchases go I don't want to buy something from somebody and give him the money and I get no product and return. Not to sound hostile or rude just curious

azcountrymom @reeseheughins That is a totally valid question! When you buy something, you pay immediately, however, Poshmark holds the funds until you physically receive the item(s). Because the seller must use the automatically-generated shipping label, everyone (buyer/seller/Poshmark) can follow the tracking of the package through the USPS system.

azcountrymom @reeseheughins Once the item is shown as delivered, the buyer has up to 3 days to inspect the contents of the package to make sure they received what the listing said. The buyer is encouraged to go into the app and accept the package, as well as to rate and review the transaction, as soon as they are confident that all is well.

azcountrymom @reeseheughins It is at this point that the seller receives the held funds. If the buyer doesn't accept the package within 3 days, then on the 4th day, the seller's funds automatically release. The exception to this is if the buyer opens a case to cite a discrepancy, in which case Poshmark arbitrates between the buyer & seller and ultimately decides what to do concerning a return/refund.

azcountrymom @reeseheughins Poshmark always handles shipping labels either way, so if you receive something "not as described" you are out nothing. Please keep in mind that you can't make a case if something merely doesn't fit as you hoped. In that case, you are encouraged to re-posh the item. There must an actual error by the seller in order to warrant a case.

I love Poshmark because I think they are super fair with both buyer and seller the vast majority of the time, plus they make the whole buying/selling process so easy! I have been selling for over a year & love all my customers! It has been a fantastic experience for me!

azcountrymom @reeseheughins I have also purchased lots of times & have had great interactions with everyone. If you end up with a bad apple, please don't let that discourage you. Ask questions and make sure your seller is active before buying. Some people have forgotten they have items for sale! Lol
