tiamat4040 Relaxed at home. My other half passed away 15 years ago and I have one son who lives outside of Philadelphia and the other lives overseas in Northern Ireland. I'm Jewish but my partner wasn't and Christmas meant alot to him and that made me happy. Since he passed away it doesn't mean the same anymire.

After 1 1/2 year without seeing anyone, it was long due and hugging them was really awesome. I got back last Friday and a little scared that the Canadian border closes its doors again as the surge and COVID new variant seem serious.

tiamat4040 Well I had a kidney stone which luckily passed, a mamagraphy scare but that's OK just being watched, put my dog down a month ago and having knee surgery next week. On the bright side I'm going over to Northern Ireland to visit my kids for the whole month of February.

I think I would go with him. His wife, daughter and granddaughter are so precious to me. These are the ones we are going to visit in Montreal next week.

It costs a fortune to go there but it's all worth it. Unfortunately, we will not see my sister as her husband is much older and has underlying conditions... plus none of them has received the booster yet.

However, we were supposed to celebrate New Year's Eves with my niece's family but she had learned she had been in contact with an infected friend a few days before we arrived, so she decided to do home tests and quarantine with her family.

I briefly saw my sister and her husband who surprised us and were at my brother's when we arrived. But I couldn't see my other niece and nephew, and their little ones. It makes me feel sad but I find comfort knowing that they are all safe and healthy.

tiamat4040 I did but it rained every day so picture being in a small house with little ones for 27 days. When it wasn't raining the winds from t h e storms in Scotland and Wales hit us hard. I usually go in May where it's still gloomy but not so rainy. I helped my kids out though because my son had some surgery and the little one had his tonsils out and I was there for 3 birthdays and they didn't have to drag the kids out when they had to do errands.

It probably took longer for you because you have a much bigger closet than mine and surely more buyers in general. Plus, after the holidays, I am assuming a drop is normal, but not like that. It's sad, as we work a lot for this. 🥺

tiamat4040 @rbd257 Why don't you do the free trial. I like it because I had to use my computer for closet pilot so I had to be at home where as with OneShop I use by phone and it keeps sharing even if my phone is off. With my computer if the screen went dark closet pilot stopped sharing.

It's a long trip because I leave from JFK and the flight is a little over 6 hours and then it's 2 hrs from Dublin to Belfast. tiamat4040 @rbd257 well the first part of my trip to see my kids went well but not the second half because my granddaughter had a freak accident playing soccer and had a fractured skull and a brain bleed. Luckily she did not need surgery and thank goodness I was there or I would have had to fly over. Came home 10/8 and was pretty wrecked. After I got home I had to get ready to move in with my kids which I did on 11/13 and I got settled this week. Sunday we're getting a 75 lb rescue American bulldog mix

totopuff I wanted to thank you all for all the shares and let you know that I had not stopped sharing. totopuff @rbd257 I’m with you and I have to start traveling and doing more! I traveled like crazy for many years, then Covid, I’m over it, and I need to start traveling more. And I dated a guy for 13 years who was in the band that we went to see and it’s always great to see them. They still take care of all my tickets and everything and the tickets for the show alone where we sat were over $2000 each. I could not have afforded that. And Rick Springfield opened for them, and it was just a great show!😘
