hondoslove @2much_jewelry As I assumed, the ring was too small, but, you said it could be sized. I took it to my jeweler & he said the lapis was glued in & if he tried to size it to an 8, it would shatter b/c lapis is so soft. He consulted w/ another jeweler who said the same thing. I know this ring is special to you, so I want to be sure you’re ok with me selling it since I can’t wear it. If not, I can return it. I just didn’t want you to see it listed for sale and think I didn’t appreciate it.

I just felt bad because I was afraid that re-listing it for sale might be hurtful to you since it was a family heirloom, you came down on the price for me, and I told you how much I wanted it. I just didn’t want you to think I was lying and just bought it to turn around and resell it. I feel so much better knowing that you’re ok with me selling it.

hondoslove @2much_jewelry unfortunately I got tired of her coming home in tears every single day because girls who were jealous of her would say everything they could to break her spirit. No matter how mean they were, she would return their comments with kindness (according to other kids and teachers), but that would make the girls meaner. The administration refused to do anything about it, so I decided to homeschool her.

hondoslove @2much_jewelry one kid got mad at her and threw his school box filled w/ scissors, pencils, etc. hit her between the eyes & said That’s what you get b/c the teacher asked her to pass out papers instead of him. His punishment- the Principal sat him at a desk in the office for the rest of the day. 😡

I see so many people buy fakes on PM & I feel so bad for them, so I try to alert sellers of fakes. Some people get irate and very rude. Your response to my comment was great! orangebarn9 @hondoslove I did search the internet and other sites and saw people offering knock off Hermes with the same tags as mine. I decided to list my scarf as unbranded and keep it on posh. What do you think of that decision? I have no use for the scarf and maybe someone else would enjoy the colors and wear scarfs more than me.

hondoslove @orangebarn9 I think that’s a great idea as long as the price that you have it listed at reflects the fact that it’s a replica. Just because it’s not Hermès doesn’t mean it’s not a great scarf...it’s probably a magnificent scarf....it’s just not worth hundreds of dollars. If anyone asks if it’s Hermes, just be honest, but at the same time, talk up how great your scarf is & unless they just have to buy name brand, they’re gonna be getting a great deal.

So is the box included or not? 2) You have 2 measurements listed, neither of which seem correct compared to what Hermès lists the measurements as. Can you please re-measure? hondoslove @krissy_luxe 3) Are you 100% certain that the little stain in the pic is the only flaw? Out of the last 5 Hermes scarves I bought, 2 were fake and the other 3 were listed as new or never worn but arrived with stains and/or thread pulls. I do not want to have to return another scarf b/c it has more flaws than listed. I don’t mind 1 or 2 small thread pulls if they aren’t very visible.

I looked at your listing because I like that particular scarf, but as I was looking through your pics, I saw that you have 3 different scarves in the pics. 1 w/ a black border, a blue & white one and a blue & grey one. I also asked if your scarf is embroidered b/c of the screenshot from Hermès you posted. How is that being “mean” to you or about the items you’re selling?

hondoslove @cookiefiend Hey there! I have a quick question. There’s a seller, Libbet28 who has an Hermès scarf listed. It looks like a legit Hermès tag, but it looks more like the Hermès Bain swimwear line. Anyway, the label says 100% silk, and seller says it’s a scarf, but the fabric and the hem aren’t like any other H scarf I’ve ever seen. Do you know what type it is, if it’s authentic, etc.?

hondoslove @cookiefiend that’s ok, I just wanted to be sure that it was authentic before researching too much further. I’ve never had a jersey scarf before. I’ve only had 45, 70, 90 and 140 cm silks as well as the 140 cm cashmere/silk blends. I really appreciate your insight and help with this!

hondoslove @cookiefiend oooh, I bet it does with how the fabric is woven, and it being a delicate fabric like silk. I’m so glad that you said that. I have to wear cotton gloves when I am putting my scarves on because of the prongs on my rings and sometimes I’ll have a snagged nail. I learned my lesson a long time ago. If I’m not wearing gloves, I’ll more than likely cause at least 1-2 thread pulls by the time I get it situated on myself.

hondoslove @jandygrandy I saw the spot before I purchased it. I can get stains out, my main issues with buying pre-owned Hermès scarves are the thread pulls, snags and/or holes. As long as you’re 100% certain that none of those issues are present, then we’re all good. Sometimes thread pulls are hard to see, but if you hold the scarf up to a bright light, the light will shine through where the thread pulls are.

hondoslove @lovefirey Fortunately, I have a hubby who loves Hermès almost as much as I do. He just mentioned buying some scarves to frame and hang in our office. He just knows I’m good at finding items at really low prices. The most I’ve ever paid for a scarf was a NWT Kermit Oliver La Vie Sauvage du Texas and it was only $400. So trying to explain paying $750 for a scarf I had and got rid of would be difficult! Anyway, thank you so much for keeping me in mind! ❤️
