I'm Risako: friend to cats, bunnies and trees!🌲 Most of my listings come from my fashionista sister who buys enough for the both of us. She likes Zara, Banana Republic, J. Crew and Japanese brands. Postings will be irregular, timed with when my sister does some closet purging. Her closet is from a dachshund friendly home. Some of the listings also come from my closet. We are a bunny friendly home. I like vintage, organic cotton, merino wool, cashmere, and tencel/lyocell. Happy shopping:-)

vintage2classic @risemika That is interesting! Yeah, you can help yourself to as much of my kale as you want, but don't touch my carrots! Funny, right? On another kale/carrot note, I just made fermented vegetables with those vegetables, plus ginger and daikon and dandelion and some cabbage too 😋 I'm sure the bunnies would have liked it before fermentation though.

vintage2classic with salt and the water comes out of veggies without haveing to add water. It smelled and tasted delicious by the 5th day but I thought to do it one more day (sometimes you can go 14 days, I usually 7, but the nest day, the sixth, it wasn;t as tangy. I don't know. First time making it in AZ. Do you use nappa or cabbage?

vintage2classic @risemika did you learn this from family? I had some store bought cabbage ferments in fridge so I had that and mine today to taste the difference. Mine was better! I used 3 tablespoons of sea salt for a huge bowl. I thought too much salt, but it is fine. I grated ginger but I prefer it chopped fine better.

risemika @leviya yes I learned from family! Homemade pickles do tend to taste better than store-bought. It is a good thing I have a lot of ginger then. These are all very good tips!

vintage2classic @risemika The sweater and skirt set is great. Aren't you sensitive to wool? I need to check if it is itchy. The bag is super fun and functional and too bad it's not bunnies instead of cats, lol. The linen dress is a favorite. Find 2 more for the deal because you get more for less. vintage2classic @risemika Lots of nice cooking in the kitchen, backslash still undecided so waiting on the. I haven't made cultured vegetables yet though. I have made bread on a special lower counter made from an old butcher block table I had for 30 years, of which I had sanded and cut. Then I oiled it with jojoba to treat it.....
