We spent 10 years investigating the Jack the Ripper Murders, and after several trips to England we penned a manuscript. We are also considering self-publishing, however several publishers have offered us contracts.

ritafreneer @stormtreasures Hello and thank you for your note and well wishes. Planning, writing, and publishing a book is quite an undertaking with very little return on investment so I have so much respect for anyone who takes that leap. I wrote my book to bring an ending (by way of fiction) to a horrible crime that haunted my childhood and will most likely never be solved. Good luck to you with your book, sounds very interesting and if you have publishers interested already, I say go for it! 😁

You are 1000% correct--after paying for several flights to England, stays in various hotels, purchasing meals, and paying for taxis, their is little to no profit to be garnered from publishing the work. ritafreneer @stormtreasures I completely agree! I spent more money on writing coaches and editors than I’ve made but fortunately, I didn’t write my book with the intention of fame or fortune (although it would be nice lol). It was a cathartic and fun journey for me and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, especially when people tell me how much they loved my book. Thanks again and very nice to meet you! 🤗
