robinrotman @wildtimetoys hahah thank you. He's a GSD mix. He's the absolute head over heels love of my love, and I make sure my bf knows!! Herding breeds are my favorite and you can't imagine my jealousy of you having four. Happy poshing!!!

peperonee Hey! I came across your page and noticed the Canadian flag! I'm actually looking for a jacket and was wondering if you could recommend any brands? I'm moving to Alberta and I'm from the states and was curious if you have any tips for jackets since I hear it can get to -30°c in North alberta and I'm not used to that type of climate xD thanks!

robinrotman @peperonee OK, let's try this again, but with a little more brevity. Arcteryx and Patagonia are my top-runners. I'd stay away from obviously trendy jackets like Canada Goose, as unless you're buying the top tier blue arctic program - you're paying for the brand. That being said don't buy a retail jacket for $200-$300, it's not going to be warm enough.

robinrotman @peperonee I encourage you to scour Posh for the abovementioned brands on sale as well as Mountain Hardware. Fur on the hood does nothing but collect sleet and snow - don't bother. Finally, MITTENS not gloves (surface area of collected heat), a good hat to cover those ears under the jacket and then either a mask for your mouth or a scarf are both good options. OH! and boots with really great traction are so underrated.

charlenevano So far what I like the best is your cuter than cute doggy! I have a black Pitt who is sleeping with 4 paws in the air on his back. He sleeps on the couch directly behind my hospital bed & most nights I wake up with him popping his toes on the headboard. He is my big baby and in jan I was in the hospital for 55 days. He was as heart sick as I was. I would cry when i would call home & talk to him and he would whine just as bad.
