Over a nine year period it has been with me almost everywhere I have gone. From Richmond to Alabama to Colorado to Las Vegas.
It has been a faithful companion and is still in relatively decent condition. The end, however, arrived when the zipper to the smaller front compartment busted its seams. I’ve been traveling with it broken for the past month but I decided to get a new one a few weeks ago.

they don’t make it anymore and the newer Keltys don’t come close to it in terms of size and number of compartments.
Fortunately, I found a person who was selling the next version of it used on Poshmark. She claimed to have only used it once and has been storing it ever since.
It arrived today and looks immaculate.
So goodby Orange Backpack. I would give you a Viking funeral but you’re made of synthetics and are unlikely to catch fire without a shitload of lighter fluid.
