Hi Rose. I called the post office yesterday and inquired why the package wasn’t showing as delivered and they said they would schedule and attempt a redelivery soon as the package had been sitting at your local post office for well over a week. Please let me know if you get it - thanks!

@alleyandra @alleyandra hi! I rescheduled the package for May 3rd delivery and it just said “in transit” -as I stayed home all day. I also tried to call post office. Then I ended up having to leave to Michigan unexpectedly on May 5 as my mom is sick. I’m going back to LA on May 19 (if nothing more unexpected happens with my mom). What number do you have for the post office? I tried to contact to have it sent to Michigan but I was not successful.

@rbkm20 I opened up a case with the USPS main hotline number to figure it out on Friday and they got back to me today. They said it has to be picked up with your ID at your local post office and that’s where the package is. If nobody goes to pick it up they will send it back but they couldn’t tell me how long that would be (the customer service rep assumed 1 month from date of arrival) I’m so sorry about your mom - you’re both in my prayers and no worries if this takes a bit longer.

@alleyandra how were you able to speak to someone at post office? I’ve called repeatedly to try to find where package is and I am unable to speak to an actual person

@rbkm20 I called my local post office. I found the number using google maps and called their local line directly. They told me the package was in your local post office. I hope that helps!!

@alleyandra I’ve called my local post office and they have no way of knowing where package is- they told me it could be anywhere from LA to Florida as the tracking has said “out for delivery” since May 2nd. They said eventually it should go back to you after 1 month. The lady at my local post office said her suggestion is to not ship USPS 🙈 I’m so sorry for all of this. I have never encountered anything like this.
