eyecandas Rosemary, I sewed in high school to stay out of study hall & went on to advanced tailoring & was chosen COED Magazine corespondent for our school. It all paid off because my girls were in musical theatre & they rocked some pretty dynamite Halloween costumes! My Mom could only see in a button & I had to rely on bad, untimely seamstresses to construct my costumes. LOVE sewing, too! Candas

rpricer @eyecandas that’s an amazing coincidence! I sew for a living!! I work out of my home and do a little of everything, but heirloom children’s clothing is my passion. And yeah, my daughter has some of the craziest Halloween costumes when she was little. So much fun!

eyecandas @rpricer Wow, how cool is it to be living your dream everyday! I, too, LOVE vintage! Even had an antique wedding w/ 100% vintage from flea markets/classifieds/thrift shops. My Mom was deceased & my dear grandma would bleach, line dry, & iron all my finds. She would make the ladies in her bridge club tat my treasures before she would bring out the cards. After the ceremony I traded for vintage baby items. Not many people can appreciate this kind of passion! You validate that I am not alone!
