realdridge @vermontboutique Sorry for the delay, I had quite a few thank you notes I had to send. I guess, I had a run on Host Picks today, 3 in the Men’s Style Party and 2 in the Date night Party. Ok, I tagged you in one of the hosts party listing so they would visit your closet for a possible host pick. A Host Pick, is a selection by the Hosting/Co-Hosting Poshers. Poshers that want their closet or an item reviewed by the Host, tag the Host Posher. This makes it much easier for the Hosts to review.

praybelieving Hi! Im Starla…been member since 2018 and listed about 10 items. I didn’t realize then that if you don’t have stock photos (from online but tricky bc laws) I hung each nice piece on back of door and wrote a decent description and waited. After 18 months and only one item selling and the fact I needed the NWT cocktail dress listed,I deleted everything. So now I have 2 large walk in closets in my room a summer & fall don’t feel too bad for hubby, his huge walk in is just upstairs…question coming

praybelieving So 1st thing I bought from posh brown leather pants.Noted how many listed that way Bc it was appealing to me. So I began styling my item I’m listing like covershot photo I had. Now in my closet I accessorize all items and give better descriptions. It’s made a huge difference since posting the few I have now. praybelieving Sorry for questions, but I stumbled on 1 thing last evening. I had practically new Kate Spade colorful backpack I used on vacation and sadly put away and forgot. My list price was fair So, never having done this before, I decided to drop price and shipping as required & sent to those on like list. In 3 minutes,the girl bought it. realdridge @praybelieving 1st let me apologize for not being around much that last couple of days. I had an in person Multi-Stylist Mega Sale today that took up my time. I probably won’t be pack up to speed until Monday Evening, maybe. They way you present your items for sale, means everything, and you want to pack in as much as you can into the description field. People are not likely to open the listing unless it catches their eye and seems to be what they are looking for.

realdridge @praybelieving Shoes are a hard sale. I’ve been lucky, but my shoes in all actuality have not been worn, we used them for modeling purposes, so they really are NWOT. We could have priced them higher, but according to Poshmarks suggestions they won’t really move unless they are the price point Poshmark suggest.

realdridge @praybelieving I am no guru when it comes to selling things, I have several pieces that I am going to have to resist because they are just too old. Others I need to get better pictures of. I have to admit I have not visited your sight yet, I’ll do that after I finish this message. One of the biggest drawback to Poshmark is you need to prove yourself to your audience and that takes time and effort.

realdridge @praybelieving The more your audience see’s the “sold” image and the “5 star” rating the more comfortable they become. From the sounds of it your are doing everything you need to do, now it’s down to tweaking and patience.

Make sure you share your complete closet a couple of times a day, with intermittent qty shares through out the day, that shows your closet is active. The big share is about other peoples closets, you need to share them as much as you can when you can. Don’t worry to much about how many to share, but more the number of closets you are sharing. The more closets you know the more closets will know you.
